Guest Services/Front Desk/Shift Supervisor

Job Description
Front Desk Shift Supervisor, evening shift, full-time
 We are looking for someone to join our Front Desk and Concierge team: answering phones, taking reservations, and assisting guests with every aspect of their stay.
​Our staff consists of guest service-oriented individuals who are energetic, organized, methodical and can work both as a team player and independently towards one goal - maximum guest satisfaction. 
Responsibilities: 
  • Take care of all guests and coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest needs and requests. Checks in with guests to ensure satisfaction. 
  • Hosts and welcomes all guests in a gracious and polite manner, and to have the ability to hold a conversation with the guest in a natural and spontaneous manner. Perform software operations like check-ins / check-outs, update profile, room reservations, requests, apply payment, verify and adjust billing, process check-out etc. on the hotel software Communicate regularly with the kitchen regarding menu questions and product availability. Keeps other departments informed about guest allergies and food preferences. Communicates with the housekeeping department as needed with turn-down service. Fully conversant with accommodation features: lay-out, room type, location, decor, in room facilities and equipment. Fully aware of operating procedures for all electrical and electronic equipment in the guest room. Supports the other departments with their duties. 
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day. Performs all his/her duties with the sense of priority and dedication. 
  • Carries out checkout in an efficient manner, offering concierge services for luggage assistance. To attend and contribute to all meetings, Departmental and Hotel training as scheduled and other related activities. 
  • Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned out of the list. Prerequisites: 
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service. 
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays. 
  • Service oriented and enjoy working with the public. Previous customer service experience preferable. Self-motivated and able to perform duties without supervision. 
  • Strong organizational skills a must. 
  • Reliable with an ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. 
  • Strong computer and communication skills necessary. 
  • POS system experience preferred but not required

Room Service Server /Attendant  - Morning (Full or Part-time)

Job Description
The Inn at Willow Grove is seeking a full-time and part-time room service professionals.  This position is Thursday through Monday morning.  Morning and mid-day hours.  Hourly rate commensurate with experience as well as tips. 
Requirements:
  • 21 years of age or older 
  • Menu and Beverage Knowledge
  • Must be professional at all times
  • Adhere to Forbes Five Star standards
  • Ability to work unsupervised at times
  • Lift up to 50lbs
  • Be on feet for up to 4-8 hours a shift
  • Quick and efficient
Duties Include, but not limited to:
  • Morning French press/Beignet tray service to rooms 
  • All “Breakfast in Bed” delivery 
  • Preparing set up for picnic baskets
  • Retrieving trays from prior evening and again once the morning is concluded
  • Keeping Butler’s pantry organized 
  • Polishing/cleaning a press pots, trays, coffee trays and coffee cups upon returning to the kitchen

Event & Catering Staff (part-time)

Job Description
As well as an award-winning boutique hotel, the Inn at Willow Grove is a premier venue for weddings, banquets, retreats, & private events. 
We are currently seeking part-time, weekend staff to join our events staff team. Our event staff team consists of motivated, energetic, reliable, friendly, and professional individuals with the common goal of providing exceptional service and an elegant, magical guest experience. 

Starting Pay: $15/Hour
Part-Time Hours: 10-20 Hours/Week
Requirements: 
  • REQUIRED: Consistent Saturday Availability (Afternoon-Late Night) 
  • PREFERRED: Some Friday (Early Evening-Late Night) and Sunday (Morning-Early Afternoon)
  • Previous experience with catering, bartending, and/or serving preferred but not required
  • Flexible/willing to fill/learn multiple roles as needed 
  • Maintains a positive, friendly, hospitable, service-oriented attitude 
  • Motivated to self-start, multi-task, and perform duties with minimal supervision 
  • Able to lift 20 to 30 pounds, go up and down stairs, and stay active for extended periods
  • Strong communication skills and enjoys working with the public and as a part of a team

Line Cook (Full or Part -Time)

Job Description
We are looking for a line cook to join our team. The line cook prepares food to the chef’s exact specifications and sets up stations as required for the menu. Line cook duties consist of assisting the executive and sous chef with their daily tasks. The successful candidate plays a key role in contributing to our customers’ satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
• Clean up station and properly store food
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
• Use commonsense approach to job responsibilities

• Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures

Housekeeping Position (Full or Part -Time)

We are looking for someone to join our Housekeeping team to assist with cleaning and upkeep of the spa, restaurant and hotel. Our housekeeping staff consists of guest service-oriented individuals who are energetic, organized, methodical and can work both as a team player and independently towards one goal - maximum guest satisfaction.

IN ADDITION TO GENERAL HOUSEKEEPING TASK DUTIES INCLUDE:
• cleaning all aspects of the Inn at Willow Grove, including guest rooms, spa, restaurant and offices,
• organize work schedule from the room status list, arrivals and departures,
• distribute linen, towels and room supplies using golf carts,
• restock room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos, writing supplies, etc.,
• replace dirty linens with clean items,
• realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout,
• respond to guest queries and requests,
• respond to calls for housekeeping problems,
• deliver any requested housekeeping items to guest rooms,
• organize and restock housekeeping supplies at the end of the shift,
• provide excellent customer service,
• ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms, and
• report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
Required Qualifications
• Ability to communicate to guests.

• Able to lift 30 lbs.
