Room Service Server /Attendant - Morning (Full or Part-time)

Job Description

The Inn at Willow Grove is seeking a full-time and part-time room service professionals. This position is Thursday through Monday morning. Morning and mid-day hours. Hourly rate commensurate with experience as well as tips.
Requirements:

21 years of age or older
Menu and Beverage Knowledge
Must be professional at all times
Adhere to Forbes Five Star standards
Ability to work unsupervised at times
Lift up to 50lbs
Be on feet for up to 4-8 hours a shift
Quick and efficient

Duties Include, but not limited to:

Morning French press/Beignet tray service to rooms
All “Breakfast in Bed” delivery
Preparing set up for picnic baskets
Retrieving trays from prior evening and again once the morning is concluded
Keeping Butler’s pantry organized
Polishing/cleaning a press pots, trays, coffee trays and coffee cups upon returning to the kitchen

Job Description

As well as an award-winning boutique hotel, the Inn at Willow Grove is a premier venue for weddings, banquets, retreats, & private events.
We are currently seeking part-time, weekend staff to join our events staff team. Our event staff team consists of motivated, energetic, reliable, friendly, and professional individuals with the common goal of providing exceptional service and an elegant, magical guest experience.

Starting Pay: $15/Hour
Part-Time Hours: 10-20 Hours/Week
Requirements:

REQUIRED: Consistent Saturday Availability (Afternoon-Late Night)
PREFERRED: Some Friday (Early Evening-Late Night) and Sunday (Morning-Early Afternoon)
Previous experience with catering, bartending, and/or serving preferred but not required
Flexible/willing to fill/learn multiple roles as needed
Maintains a positive, friendly, hospitable, service-oriented attitude

Motivated to self-start, multi-task, and perform duties with minimal supervision
Able to lift 20 to 30 pounds, go up and down stairs, and stay active for extended periods
Strong communication skills and enjoys working with the public and as a part of a team
Attention to detail
Reliably and consistently performs event duties as scheduled

Housekeeping Position (Full or Part -Time)

Job Description

We are looking for someone to join our Housekeeping team to assist with cleaning and upkeep of the spa, restaurant and hotel. Our housekeeping staff consists of guest service-oriented individuals who are energetic, organized, methodical and can work both as a team player and independently towards one goal - maximum guest satisfaction.

IN ADDITION TO GENERAL HOUSEKEEPING TASK DUTIES INCLUDE:
• cleaning all aspects of the Inn at Willow Grove, including guest rooms, spa, restaurant and offices,
• organize work schedule from the room status list, arrivals and departures,
• distribute linen, towels and room supplies using golf carts,
• restock room supplies such as drinking glasses, soaps, shampoos, writing supplies, etc.,
• replace dirty linens with clean items,
• realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout,
• respond to guest queries and requests,
• respond to calls for housekeeping problems,
• deliver any requested housekeeping items to guest rooms,
• organize and restock housekeeping supplies at the end of the shift,
• provide excellent customer service,
• ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms, and
• report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
Required Qualifications
• Ability to communicate to guests.
• Attention to detail.
• Team oriented and dedicated to providing excellent service.
• Able to lift 30 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to bend, crouch, crawl, climb and kneel.

Job Description

We are looking for a qualified spa therapist to provide professional and engaging wellness therapies and massage treatments to our clients. You will offer a full range of treatments to fulfill different client needs and objectives. You will be an essential link in guaranteeing that our guest’s experience is nothing less than outstanding!
Responsibilities:
• Deliver a variety of spa services (body treatments, massages, etc.) in a safe and comfortable manner
• Maintain equipment and sample inventory of products
• Keep a clean and stocked room
• Acknowledge and respond to relevant customer queries, needs and expectations
• Suggest and promote retail products or additional services
• Uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations
• Cooperate with and report on administration on any arising issues
• Apply best practices and be up to date with market trends
• Upsell lotions, creams and other skin care products
• Train new therapists as they join our staff
• Build and retain a solid client base
Qualifications:
• Virginia Therapist license required
• Minimum of two years experience
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings
• Self-motivated and customer service-oriented
• Proven work experience as a Spa therapist
• Hands on experience in massage techniques and face/body therapies
• Communication and customer service skills
• Positive attitude
• Ability to sell products to our clients based on the products you use while rendering services
